It all started with a few real life friends and a few IG friends.
We wanted to get together for a girls' weekend in the mountains.
Alison and I asked a few ladies if they were interested, and before we knew it we had a group of 10 ladies who were excited to join us for a weekend in Blue Ridge, GA.

We didn't really plan for it to become so awesome. It just happened.
Thanks to some really wonderful shops: Baby Boy Bakery, Bubblewrappd, Moon Beam Wishes, Sunbasil Garden, Happy Days, Glitter and Gloss, Milo & Molly, Little Green Thread, and Pen & Paint
and lots of good company:
We arrived on a Friday afternoon and immediately began connecting with one another. It was so good to meet friends in real life, some of them I only see through a screen.
We cooked together, laughed together, crafted together. We made fabric wrapped wreaths, painted geometric wooden necklaces, crocheted coffee cuffs (thanks to Christa's awesome teaching skills), started on hoop art, and drank large amounts of tea/coffee together.

The weekend was over too quickly; I am so grateful to have had a chance to spend a few days with a group of ladies.
It was a wonderful time to create and connect. What's even better is I still get to see and talk with them most days, even if it's through the world wide web.
We have had lots of questions on how you can be "invited" to a one of these craft weekends. We had NO idea the response that would come from this girls' trip. We are definitely considering organizing more weekends like this in the future. If we do there will most likely do a sign up list for those who are interested and a raffle of some sort to draw names so everyone has a fair chance to come. Stay tuned for that :)
Oh, and the winner of all the swag from our fantastic weekend is Morgan! I'll be emailing you. Congrats!
